A food bank’s main purpose is to help the hungry. Long-term unemployment, persistent underemployment.

the high cost of food, gas, utilities and rent are forcing more and more people to seek emergency food.

A food bank is a food donations and distribution to the disadvantaged. We will be relying on donors for our operations.

Support Groups

A support group is a gathering of people who share a common health concern or interest. A support group usually focuses on a specific situation or condition, such as breast cancer, diabetes, heart disease, addiction or long-term caregiving.

They are led by professional facilitators, such as a nurse, social worker or psychologist, or by group members.

The biggest advantage of support groups is helping a patient realize that she is not alone — that there are other people who have the same problems.
